Why not? If I let off the throttle its generally because I want to slow down, thats what the Jake is for? If you dont want the Jake its pretty easy to keep enough feel on the petal so it doesn't engage
That's how we drive. Switch is always on, when you shift you regulate the pedal so that it doesn't come on unless you want it to. Easypeasy.
