Was thinking about buying a wire welder but know very little about them. Just something for general farm repairs. Currently using a fifty year old Lincoln ac.


We've a 252 Miller wire feeder and an old Dial Arc 250 stick.

I used the old stick welder far more.

Less than 3/16" thick I'll use the wire feeder. Otherwise it's 6010 root pass and 7018 cap.

Aluminum is stick welder every time.

I'd rather stick it together than wire it together.
