Following ans thanks for the detailed information. I have replaced mine and was not happy when I had to spend the 700 bucks to get going again. Is there a way to replace just the thermostat too
I guess I’m not sure what you mean by just the thermostat. After taking it apart I think it would be pretty unlikely that anything besides the seals would fail. There isn’t really a thermostat like a car has that is one piece. These units everything comes apart so the spring is separate from the thermal expansion part and valve part is separate as well. I believe you can get all the internal parts separate from the housing so as long as the housing is good all the other parts can be replaced separately. |
