265/75 was stock tire size on alot of trucks with 16' rims, and then 265/70 on 17 inch, ect ect,
Every truck i have gets the 285/70 or 285/75 depending on rim size, it just gives the truck a little better look in my opinion, speedometer change will be a around 3mph faster at 55
