Hennepin, IL
Is the 7000 a front fold or wing fold (kelderman)? If its a front fold 7000, I honestly dont think there's a ton of advantage between it and an early 1770. Frame isnt exactly the same but its similar enough and not a lot heavier. Theres a few nice upgrades to the Max Emerge 2 and Plus units but to be honest, thats all youre gaining. The HD springs IMO are a step backwards. New meters for the 7000 are a plus, and sounds like you might use the liquid system down the road so thats a plus. IMO for the price difference, Id bring the 7000 home and throw some parts on it. If we were only talking say $5-7000 difference, I would maybe lean towards the 1770.
