Southern MN in the pothole between the hills | Helping a friend with a 9760 that won't start. He had the fuel filters changed, and the o-ring on the plastic canister for the primary filter got pinched, and it was sucking air. We changed the filters again, but it was 10 degrees out at the time and we didn't try starting it. He said the lift pump will prime it. He tried starting it today, but it won't take off. Any suggestions? Do we take the return line off the back off the head and see if fuel is coming out? I don't have a whole lot of experience with common rail injection. |
