Southeast Washington | I'll see what I can come up with. I've only been home a week and trying to get back on schedule. We flew into Sydney and rode the train into the Blue Mountains to Katoomba where we picked up our rental car where I could practice driving on the left in a rural setting. We then visited with 4 different farmers on the trip that I had made friends with before through the Combine Forum or were Nuffeld Scholars and had come to the US to study and my brother has connections with them so many from abroad have visited our farm in their travels.
We went from the outback and Aborigines to farmland to the Snowy Mountains and to the beach on our way back to Sydney. Evoke is so friendly. One field we had a wheat stubble fire and got to see the Australian fire department at work without having to wear bunker gear and all the regulations our area have to abide to. They had also put a plane in the air headed our way but only burnt about 50 acres and canola stubble was down wind. Did burn one of the lone trees in the field.
Here was some of areas we covered on the map but mostly SW of Sydney in farm country.
