I was able to upgrade my 7210R 4600 V1 to V2 last spring there was still the JD swap program at that time at least.
I do not regret doing it, wasn't that expensive (1000$) and was really worth it. Just for the documentation for a dry rate controller and data sync with jd ops is really slick.
