| It is hard to make the claim that it is others that were duped when you come from the position that he is “the father of the vaccine”.
The truth is that it is opposition that keeps every administration from achieving everything they want to. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It is actually a very, very good thing. It is important to keep in mind that it is also true that the opposition should never achieve everything they want to also.
The best situation is where the side achieving what they want to is the side aligned with the best interests of the public. In this case it is quite likely that scaling scaling back emission standards that is in the best interests of the public so in this case fighting against Trump and wanting him to fail is likely going against the best interests of your fellow man.
Edit to add: That applies to the war you mentioned also. Opposing Trump’s desire to end the war has resulted in the huge cost of additional loss of life. I’m not convinced that Trump “losing” was a “win”.
The lines of divisions being encouraged and created within society are based on whose idea it is rather than what the idea actually is. That is what is being encouraged and that is very, very dangerous.
