Thanks Chris, all my pictures I try to make show that they are straight with some reference point. I see level land people turning the camera to make it look like they have hills. I remember a comment on here one time where someone said they have hills all 7 percent slope is them.

Reminds me of a story line ago of our local in town John Deere dealer. It had been a 3 store chain and they all broke up into individual dealerships in the early 80's. The local store was named Hillside Machinery. One of the owners was putting the new name up over the door and had a level to make sure the letters were all straight. I came along in my youth and just asked him about his work as I asked him whoever heard of a level hillside. He scratched his head and just said you got me there as he continued his work.

I'll leave you with a picture I thought was funny in Australia. This was at a local pub where we stayed in the hotel and that night several farmers were celebrating finishing harvest.

The mailbox contained the rain gauge sna I can only imagine the shenanigans that go on through the year with the rain gauge. My assumptions are based on what American farmers I know would do anyway. One way to break the ice with a crowd anyway.
