I have no idea if it is true or not. I don't think it much matters. Manufacturers are so committed with R+D to the emissions side of things I think it is unlikely they will quit making equipment with emissions components. I would think the big fear would be that in a few years we have a change in Washington and the party in power decides to put all of these regulations back in place.
