OH
Thanks for the comments and feedback. It's been fun, I've learned a lot.

Your comment about price, service, ecosystem, etc. is spot on. If a company came along and was interested, we could chat. But going on my own in a crowded space, and in a space I just proved is vulnerable to a guy in a garage, seems like a tricky spot. Also, your comment about the other guy getting better in the meantime is spot on. If I could find a company in grain handling that wanted to talk, it could work for everyone. I know I could pretty quickly put together a low-cost team to build out what I have created, and I also know that I could source kits and parts pretty cheap in this space. It's doable if there's an interested grain handling company that already has that market, ecosystem, and service culture.

I do think there is a market at the low-end of the price and complexity spectrum. It's hard to justify buying 10 Amber Ag units, and even harder to justify buying 10 units from AGI. But farms like ours have a lot of bins that range in size, and a monitoring system would help save folks money in electricity and quality loss. Our electric bill is $100 per day when all our fans are running, if we can shut them down a few days earlier then the system pays for itself quickly.
