Subject: RE: Which Yield monitor system for JD 9770

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I'm very biased but I have used Ag Leader Yield monitors from the start. I have used an InCommand 1200 in my 9770 for several years and am happy with it. I use the InCommand in the planting tractor and also in the Hagie sprayer. This means all planting, fertilizing, spraying and harvesting maps are available in the same display.

I use Ag Leader's assisted steering called Steady Steer in the 9770 which works well in soybeans. This is the type of system that uses an external motor to turn the steering wheel for me. The steering is based on AB lines.

I use Headsights Truesight II feeler controller steering system to control the Steady Steer motor in corn. This is a feeler based system that senses between rows 3 & 4 rather than using GPS. Both systems work well in their respective situations.
