Central NE | manure is the best source of phosphorus and in a form plants can use it. one semiload per acre can provide near 1000 lbs phos. It needs to be spread well with good coverage if it will be a one time correction application. Do you have a feedlot within 50 miles? a lot of side benifits and other nutrients to the manure. composted or dried out manure would be lower in nitrogen, but more economical to haul.
