I dont agree with Brian hefty much, Darren I can listen too. If you want to deal with the headaches of 17% beans then go right ahead, good way to ruin a bin (if they get rotten) and alot of extra work and hassle, I sigh a relief when the beans are testing 12 and under and I can just roll on without worries. I plant 2.2-3.0 beans to try to help spread harvest out more than a week, that helps so your entire crop doesnt go to 8% during that hot week oct. 1st.
