I would say that is accurate. My wife and I make roughly half that, give or take 10 grand gross without the farm. That much with it the last two years.SMH Even at that, it's sometimes hard to put back much cash on hand certain times of the year. My home is not on the farm and we owe about another 5 years on it. Owe on a couple vehicles. Then you have the usual bills as with any family and home, vehicle maintenance and repairs. Everything has exploded in costs the last 5 years. Twenty years ago we made half that and were no worse off.  It would help, if my wife didn't have expensive tastes. She like to splurge too much to suit me. There is never a danger it gets us in money trouble, I just don't like buying something you use once and then it collects dust. My biggest splurge is I like to dine out on Saturday evening and for Sunday morning breakfast. I normally do one or the other every weekend. Once a month both.
