Not every larger farmer that is doing the things necessary to survive in shrinking margins is asking for government money. I think sometimes it is the smaller farmers that refuse to inovate that are getting squeezed and asking for money. But...that is a broad brush as well.



Is the innovation you’re talking about have anything to do with collecting carbon/climate money (aka more govt money)?

Bottom line is those that bid up rents to continually gain more acres are the ones that are shrinking everyone’s margins including their own.
