coast of Maine | Baarff!^ on this idea...The Gulf oysters from Appalachacola(spelling errors)Florida were restricted in harvest for a couple years.So much of that market has been lost to Northern Atlantic growers,Near here they are a booming business.The Damariscotta river is so full of oyster barges(floats) the water has become so clean from filtration by them they actually grow slower now.There is a company we use some Johns River oysters.I think they ship a lot fedex.The east coast up here is very clean compared to the gulf. | |
