Pittsburg, Kansas | Having thought of that book, I emailed my three kids and ask them if they remembered it and reading it.
My youngest son, old enough now to have kids in colege and high school, sent me back a picture of it on his shelf along with another book I also bought them (and that I had forgotten about). All three of my kids went through a wild stage about high school age and he was the wildest. He turned out to be a great dad, even though none of his several kids are biologically his. Guess he learned from some of his self induced troubles.
This was the picture he sent me. Also sent me a picture of The Wealthy Barber which was another book I thought good enough for the kids to learn from about investing. We paid them to read several books. I guess some of it actually "stuck". We definitely wondered at the time.
