95 miles NW of Quitaque, TX | Go to a version of Linux that is like Windows. I set up my MIL on an old Lenovo laptop with Linux Mint. She has learned how to do everything she needs on the laptop. She only needs to go to amazon, the web and email. Is the laptop to slow? Not really. I can tell that the webpages are not instantaneous but she does not know that.
It works, updates and she is happy. She came from a chrome book. She likes LM better than the chrome book.
She is 86 years old. It was free and she liked that.
