Second planter means a second operator and a second tractor. That has a cost also.
Here I would keep the fertilizer. It is not just this years crop you are feeding.
Here, fungicide or seed treatment have not paid.
I plant beans after corn, so mid to late May planting.
Early planting may change your out come.
