| I just reread your post where plowing is an option.
Years back I plowed some standing willows. I had a high clearance Allis plow.
It actually worked pretty well. The willows were 8 foot tall or so.
I wouldn't have done it except I was trying to keep a fire from getting into the ditch. Here the ditches are grownup to old trees and have steep banks, so no easy way to stop it once it gets there.
