Yes they can, but I have been buying them for 80k-90k. Rolling the dice. Haven't lost one yet. Rolling the dice with possible expense vs. paying the piper up front and guaranteeing expense has been working so far. Also do all work besides what needs a laptop or a highly expensive special tool. Usually can find an independent with that special tool to come save the day and about 50% of dealer charge.
