IALTO has used the term "Late Stage Capitalism, I believe, several times now.

IMHO that's where we are. Every part of the chain is trying to extract every cent that it possibly can. Housing, food, cars, equipment, parts, seed, fertilizer, etc, etc, etc. It's all about extracting that maximum amount of "value" possible out of each transaction.

You buy the hardware, then get charged a $ amount per acre to use it. Accounting programs are now subscription. And on, and on, and on. The whole thing is a race to see who can get the most before the turnip runs out of blood and turns into a stone.

it is called greed.

Wall Street is a big player in all of the Greed..They demand that corporate America squeeze every dollar of profit that they can...Lets keep wages down and the prices of all goods up-etc..Nothing is ever enough for them..A few on here seem to worship Wall Street...The US is a powder keg ready to explode one day...It will be ugly when it does.
