I would try and get it sprayed this spring with remedy/24d etc.
Probably best for a drone, unless you can reach everything with the hand boom. Perhaps spray it a couple times.
I cleared some similar with an old disc. I hung the wings out into the brush. it worked ok.
A tree puller on a skid may have been as fast. Clean up with grapple doesn't take long.
Just from looking at your picture, it may work ok to spray a few times to kill the brush and just burn it where it stands.
When I took mine out of CRP, I was allowed to disc and terrace the ground the last summer.
I think mine came out in September. It has been 35 years or so. I might be off on that.
Since yours is in the brush program, you may have to wait until the end to get rid of the brush.
We may have a hard winter so winter kill is possible......
