Subject: RE: somebody is taking a big whipping on the really big pieces

I think the fallout from the last big downturn in the equipment market from circa 2014 has most dealers not too eager to trade anything and everything. Titan Machinery is the best local example. Some green dealers in the region have been putting stuff on auctions to get rid of though. But also, there isn't the volume of trade ins coming from the farmers too that there was leading up to that 2014-16 downturn. Leading up to that, there was the 5 year period where, for example, guys that had been running JD maximizer and early 50 series STS rotors to death could finally upgrade to a 70 series or early S series combine. Same could be said for the red side, going from 1680-2388-blacktop 8010 to 8120-9120s, just using combines as an example from my memory.
