It is possible to coninue living the life you desire also after getting rich. Years ago (back in the 80's I think) I read the book "Millionaire next door" and thought it a very good read. In fact so good I bought three more copies and gave them to my three kids (teenagers then) and paid them to read it and give me a one paragraph book report on what they read.
Not everyone that is wealthy lives what many would consider a lavish lifestyle. But many choose to. Some even choose to that can't really afford it.
