Boone Co. Iowa
My brain is in the same place. Small robots using electric engines/motors, GPS, and suddenly I don’t have spraying and chemical costs. And I can move that time and energy and capital to something else.

No chemicals means maybe organic is a possibility?

Then, being an organic farm means you just need the fertility. And livestock and fence and buildings come back to the farm.

I see it as a challenge and an opportunity.

And maybe Iowa lowers the cancer rate from the 2nd highest in the nation.

I like my local equipment dealer and the machinery is pretty awesome and can really get stuff done. But hard to make the repairs, parts, etc. cost justify what is getting done.
