Some years back a crooked banker swindled a bunch of people out of a lot of money, (putting many of them into bankrupcy proceedings, or would have if not for arbitration getting some of the debt written down), while also bankrupting the bank. The guy was part owner of the bank, who did not have to pay anything back because the entity he used to swindle the people was an LLC within an LLC possibly within another LLC, and none of them, nor him personally had any money left (but his wife and family somehow were doing very well).
Didn't spend a day in jail. IMO, he should be in there until he rots. | |
