North of London | Sorry if this sounds like a rant to you but will try to explain what I understand and how I accept the world around us.
You believe in a 'soul' but I try not to just believe in things.
i try to accept what there is evidence and proof of and when most people talk about a soul it is of something that is only a belief and that there is no evidence of it existing
Some may just mean our conscious understanding that we have while alive, kind of the intellectual activity of our brain.
So with no evidence of any 'soul' actually existing then there is no reason for me, or anyone else living in reality, to accept it as anything more than just a belief.
So you are correct when you say our 'souls' will not end up in the same place
My understanding of life is when we stop breathing or die then nothing matters to us any longer as the atoms that make up our body are released back into the universe again.
In my case spread so they can move about unlike being buried in a concrete vault, and in some cases inside a metal box in that vault, never to venture out again for many years when the concrete eventually breaks down and needing someone else to cut the grass above for many years. | |
