Our newest tractor is a 2015. Most of what we have would have been a really nice line of equipment in the late '90's. It's all reasonably reliable. We've finally updated some tillage and etc. Updating some hay equipment.
The problem going forward is repair cost. It's nothing to dump 10K in parts in a $25,000 combine before the season starts. Not that long ago, a reman engine for our combine was around $8500, now they're 18k.
Local guy bought a newer combine he gave around 50K for a couple years ago. Blew an engine. 65K for an engine. Gear box is 50K. Hydrostat is 35K. You have to buy them and then they're disposable, almost.
