I see comments by guys on how they know how the bigger farmers and guys with optional units are defrauding crop insurance. My guess is this is what these guys are doing themselves and are trying to make it sound like everyone is doing it. I think alot of these comments are based on jealousy, they are trying to blame neighbors getting ahead in the farming game on insurance fraud instead of looking at the real reason they are not getting ahead. THEMSELVES
Spot on. I have always suspected that the guy babbling about the neighbor secretly screwing the landlord or screwing crop insurance is probably either doing what he's projecting or wishing he could. As a matter of fact, one of the most prolific babblers in my neighborhood was later found to have been stealing equipment and defrauding people. He eventually declared bankruptcy and stuck a lot of us small farm suppliers. And, it's always the 'bigger farmers' that are doing the bad things. Being a pos is equal opportunity, has nothing to do with size. |
