FSA loan we got seemed like a bunch of hoops to jump through at the time, but looking back non of them were difficult. A lot of paperwork, but I was pretty organized prior so it was mostly giving them transferirng numbers from my records to their forms. If you want to farm and don't have a head-start, I would say get going on it. Things don't move fast.
