nc ks | Small pull type spreaders have electronics and sensors? If a shortline company could make them cheap and prosper, they would. Not everything is just priced at what the market will bare. Things just cost alot to make. That is why you have to actually use something new in order to buy it. Hauling manure for a couple weeks and then parking the spreader in a shed for 98% of the year doesn't pencil. That is why we have hired an outfit to come in and clean our pens in a week and spread the manure in the past. I now have bought a truck mounted spreader that is like new on a very nice diesel truck that was used by a municipality. $6k if that. It was just a lucky day on the auction. Things can be had, just takes a bit of time and vigilance. | |
