I call B.S. on this.

Go to China, see them pick and shell the corn by hand. Are those the small producers staying in the game you talk about? Or go to Mexico, where they buy all of our 9600s and euclid green steigers and still run and repair them. Are those your vision of small producers staying in the game?

The problem in the US is labor availability. Finding machines to replace the lack of available help. Hence bigger more complicated machines. The equipment manufacturers are giving what the US producer wants. If what you said could make money you'd see a company try it.
