People seem to think that with less electronics it should be less expensive
that may not be the case
Then we have to debate what smaller equipment is. Compared to top line production models, a 450 HP tractor could be 'small'
This would likely represent specialized production
And that would cost more.
This is why you can oftentimes find a base model XLT for less money than an XL or base work truck.
Making more of what sells and longer production runs bring lower costs.
I do not know what the manufacturers make here that is directly exported.... But getting approval for that equipment with engines will be difficult at best
Even if the NAT wish of emission rollbacks occurs
(fwiw, I don't think there will be any rollback, but at best degraged/delayed shutdown for emission headaches)
