There just is no public will to do better. Something Iowans are doing has made the cancer rate go as high as anywhere. The general assembly will not do a thing about it this winter.
The reason Iowa has the second highest cancer rate in the nation is because we have the second highest population of old people.
Where did you get that info from? They are 32nd in average age and 15th in people over the age of 65.
