Going to be ripping a lot of 1" kiln dried oak, have a 3hp 10" table saw. It pulls it pretty hard with a 10" 24 tooth blade.

How much more "power" would it have with an 8" 24 tooth (or less, 24 seems to be the coarsest).

I don't need the added depth of cut on a 10



It would have to be better , basically a lower gear .
