Why do you want to see the reports first? I don't see the report numbers in and of themselves changing that spread. If bullish the carry will grow as farmers sell a higher cash price. We aren't running out of corn anytime soon so a narrow carry historically means basis should be set earlier as there carry is likely to grow. And definitely don't want to carry unpriced grain past July 4th. Will let someone else play in that timeframe. | |
