I hope the new coach works out, but I'm always skeptical. Places like k state and iowa state can't compete with the big money schools.
Big money schools don't always get the best coaches. Look at the 38....................48..............53..................73 MILLION dollar buyouts the last few years. The killer for K-State, ISU, OSU and others is those damed stupid buyout clauses in the contracts.
Had Klieman not retired we would be stuck with him for at leat two-three more seasons. Kudos to him for doing the right thing.
Collin Klein is absolutely the best option K-State had, a known quantity and a quality percon. |
