Per NASS Sales of $1000 or more qualify as a farm (point farms may have less than $1000 in sales
That is what the Ag Census uses, and comes from a Schedule F

for other disucssion.....
ERS Farm Structure Definition
Small Farm Gross income less than $350,000
Low Sales Farm Gross income less than $150,000
There have been articles and discussions of "very small farms" having gross incomes of between $10,000 and $50,000….but this is not an official category

If I could get formatting correct, I would post the dollars by farm type that aligns with the original post
