SW WI | But haven’t we heard stories from the Canadian wilderness of draining oil every night, keeping by a campfire, then refilling next morning?
Ice road trucks don’t shut off…do they?
And then there’s stories about Soviet WW2 tanks in winter or dozers in Siberia. Sort of a firebox underneath to cut some wood, build a fire and get machine rolling.
Also thought stories in the early days of NAT, told about old timers that would put charcoal in a metal hog pan, light it and slide it under their farmall M or John Deere B, for winter work.
None of this really helps….just reminiscing about stories.
