I have not been following this much at all, but I would imagine it was a forced retirement. Maybe ksu gave the old coach some money and told him to keep quiet.
Well for one thing, he isn't old, and it wasn't forced by the AD or the UP. Coach Klieman had some medical issues in the last two years along with the poor performance from the players. In fact, the AD was surprised when coach's announcement was made I'm pretty sure they both knew of all the complaining from the keyboard warriors and some of the donors.
An addition he stated that the NIL and transfer portal has ruined college sports. He is exactly right on that one. I'm glad along with other K-Stat fans that we didn't heve to spend 30 million that we didn't have.
EMAW!!
PS Bill Snyder's retirement was indeed forced. He stayed on at least two years too long. He seemed very happy yesterday at the press conference to see Collin Klein back in Manhattan. |
