If 20% of farms make under $1k a year, they are gardeners, not farmers.
The range of dollar buckets make zero sense.
I think that was gross, they had a net loss which helped them out on the taxes on the real income. plus maybe snag a couple grants. gives way to the debate of what a farm is.
