NW Iowa | My compressor is in an unheated store room in Northwest Iowa. It's a higher dollar commercial compressor I bought 20 years ago or thereabouts. It has never given trouble, it just plain works and it has been worked plenty heavy when I sandblast and when truck tires are changed. I do change oil regularly if that means anything. It serves three shops but all three are never occupied at the same time and one is a woodworking shop that I can almost call a non use for the compressor. The only drawback I can think of is if someone unfamiliar with the compressor is in the store room when the compressor kicks in they get excited real quick for a few seconds. | |
