Keep in mind this was only one farm and needs replicating but it definitely opened my eyes.
This was an area in a field that I turned off the n-serve injection and instead of putting 200 actual like the rest of the field I went up to 220.
According to the yield map the area without it made 171 compared to where it was applied it did 184.
This was very interesting to me as we really haven’t done any tests before but I think I need to.
This farm got beat up pretty bad with a heavy rain and windstorm that led to a fair amount of lodged corn. It was one of our worse fields.
Would have been interesting to see what the difference would have been with 200 lbs N fron Nh3 with N serve, 200 lbs N from Nh3 no Nserve plus 10 gal 32 side dress |
