Seems like,
34# is common with oats.
I have never harvested oats.

Not surprising that we have different scales of measure for bushel weight here in Canada. We use the "A" scale of conversion to measure bushel weight. So my oats this past year came in at 41.5 pounds per bushel which seems fairly typical for here. The U.S. uses the "W" scale to measure bushel weight which comes up with a lower figure. My oats would be 37.1 pounds per bushel using the U.S. "W" scale. We are usually paid a little better price per bushel for non dessicated oats. Sometimes a lot more. I don't dessicate any crops. Oats are usually swathed early and picked up once they dry.
