Subject: crowfoot wrenchs

Cen Ks
Are most crowfoot wrenches designed for only one orientation? Let me explain: on my 1/2in drive crowfoot wrenches, the 1/2 square hole is exactly in line with jaws. That means flipping it over doesn't change where it will fit. If the square hole were angle slightly(relative to jaws), it would be a great improvement. Most open end flat wrench are slightly angled, which greatly increases the positions it can be used. Are most crowfoot wrenches designed like this? It seems most on-line venders carry the same style i have, If you ever need to remove a large hydraulic hose out of the belly of a skid loader, crowfoots wrenches make or break the process, For some applications, a 12 point flare crowfoot will work, but not on others, Where can multi-angle crowfoot wrenches be found? It wouldn't seem to cost the manufacturers to adjust their tooling a few degrees when cutting the drive hole....in some cases it might make the difference of cutting a hose apart vs getting a wrench on it.
