Latimer Iowa | We welded up a steel stand and put it over the trash barrel right in corner by the overhead door. It’s wasted space in that corner, hence the burn barrel being there. The compressor above it uses no space.
It’s mounted on a heavy wood pallet to isolate vibration and to make it carry easy to move with a forklift. Thinking it is the pallet it was shipped on… I do a little sandblasting and painting at a different location and this way we can just grab it and move around farms as needed.
I Put foam board around it with an open top and bottom for noise.
Its nice having it right by the door for air hoses to do tires outside. Very easy to drain water from it too with it 6 foot in the air. I do it much more because when you throw something away you see the drain valve, i put a 90 degree valve on it for ease.
I have the electric just as a turkey track plug so it can be unplugged easily and plugged into a welding outlet wherever we may need it at with several different farm sites.
