Sac & Story county IA | The first question has to be - What is the pan made out of? Aluminum or plastic, magnet won't hold. On my snow moving unit, I use both block heater and pan heater. Block heater is 1000 watts and pan is 250. I have had both on overnight on a unit with 6 gallons of oil with no problems. At 3 btus per watt, and 9 gallons of oil in contact with lots of pounds of iron, 750 btus won't overheat anything. | |
